A native of northern Virginia, Dr. Gupta completed her undergraduate work at
George Mason University as a Dean's List student. She received her Doctorate of Medicine at Eastern
Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. While there, Dr. Gupta was the recipient of numerous
awards and scholarships. Dr. Gupta completed her radiation oncology residency at Georgetown University
Hospital. Dr. Gupta is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and holds a clinical faculty
position at the internationally renowned Lombardi Cancer Center at Georgetown University Hospital. She
started the Cancer Center at Fairfax in 2004. With its phenomenal success, she opened the Cancer Center
at Gaithersburg in 2011.
She is a member of professional organizations such as the American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO)
and the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (ASTRO). Dr. Gupta is actively involved in
community outreach events and has appeared repeatedly on local news channels as an expert in the field of

has been repeatedly recognized in Washingtonian magazine and Northern Virginia Magazine as one of D.C's top
doctors. Dr. Gupta is also fluent in Hindi and proficient in Spanish. She is married with three children
and enjoys cooking, reading, and gardening.
